Our Story

Barcelona Soccer Academy is Central Florida’s year-round elite youth soccer academy that takes a European approach and emphasizes passing "Tiki-Taka", movement on the field, speed and most important creativity. A formula that has been successful with top clubs like FC Barcelona.
 
The academy’s Director of Coaching Jose Luis Ramirez creator of BSA Methodology is a Licensed UEFA Pro Coach, certified Sports Director with a degree in Physical Education. He is a Barcelona native with over 30 years of coaching experience that has coached such teams as, Gimnastic de Tarragona a second division Pro Spanish Club, Al Sadd SC, Remo Stars FC and assisted Malta First Division.
 
Along with his extensive background Jose Luis Ramirez Director of BSA Soccer, is registered with the Real Federación Española \ Federació Catalana de Futbol and a Licensed FIFA Players Agent.

Barcelona Soccer Academy is a different kind of soccer club.  Our main focus is the development of the players. We understand that becoming a good soccer player takes years and years of dedicated training in a professional and fixed environment. 

Our aim is for our BSA players to move on to reach their soccer goals and dreams.  The BSA Staff is here to provide the pathway in order for our players to do so.   

BSA IS for you if:

  • You love to play soccer.
  • You want to have fun, work hard, and focus on getting better everyday.
  • Want a professional dedicated Technical Staff who's aim is to make you a better player.
  • Enjoy being challenged daily with players older, younger, of equal and different abilities.

BSA is Not for you if:

  • You want to take short cuts in development (win vs. improve)
  • Are looking for the best "deal".
  • Want promises on player placements i.e. colleges.
  • Looking for recreation

A club with a plan...to guide young players down the path of player development.  Here at BSA we believe that when you develop the player you also develop the person.
